Front shaft seal was leaking
No one had the right one
Shocking.

2 years sitting in the garage meant the 8.8 center was full of so much crap
Its now clean and ready for gears

Finished my window rack

Made some control arm skids
Now front diff is ready for gears

This is how far a 12t press will bend 6mm x 250mm plate
Sucks because i need each bend to be 45 degrees

great build thread, probably nothing I could suggest you havent thought of, as much for my curiosity about your bending jig etc etc.

would heating them with oxy allow you to bend them enough?
now that you can buy the bottles outright, not rental

dunno why the "like" icon is no longer available to be selected after a week or so

on my D35, that fktard bolt was broken clean in half...it was immense fun getting the broken inner thread out

i didnt try to heat them
i used the 20t press at work and it bent them as required easily

the bolt is actually for the 8.8
i have no idea where the one i had went, im sure it will now turn up haha
