Just drain a litre or two from radiator, but that is the same as a regular change. I found the actual cooler loss to be minimal aka a good sizeable rag will catch it all at the cooler itself when working to change out the EGR rubber bend. The rear pipe will just slowly piss out if you don’t. If the dam thing as easy to get at I would have tried my luck and quick change but it’s not unfortunately.
