Default 2011 jk + CRD exhaust dump pipe

I've been looking in to a new dump pipe and deleting / modifying the existing cat and dpf. Only things stopping me is the sensors hanging out of both.
Has anyone removed or exchanged either the cat or dpf?

My work ute (CRD triton) has a similar setup but no sensors. I've made up a new dump pipe for that with good results. Here it is

There is no CAT on a crd engine.
The DPF how ever will be a problem as the ecu needs feedback from those sensors.
Pre DPF don't have this problem tho

What performance changes did you get with the triton mate?

I believe it sensors pre and post pressures to determine if the DPF is clogged up and needs to regen. I have not looked into it in enough detail to give an answer sorry.
It could be as simple as wiring up some resistance loops to trick the sensors into thinking they are really reading the DPF when really it's not even there..

If you are in Vic, you are welcome to test out the dump on my JKU. It is something I want to do on mine shortly

Ausdean: much quicker turbo spool, much less to no turbo lag (more common on triton though) but biggest thing is way lower egt.
Performance gains all round really... Not to mention the sound
