Got basically the same thing - Xoom 32GB 3G with GPS from Kogans for (~$450) so that i can use it while off road and also in daily life. Oziexplorer for Android works a treat. Ordered the ODBII bluetooth adapter... still not here yet.

Where are you going to mount it? Will it fit in the eePC whole? I'm thinking about using a Ram Mount. Needs to be easy to detach and take the xoom away.

I ordered a RAM mount, shoild get here today or tomorrow then I'll mount it up and give it a test. Ultimatley I'll mount the ram mount on the dash below the stereo but to start with I'll use the windscreen mount.

Cheers
Steve

Cool. Similar setup. I've been trying to source a reversing cam that will work with the Xoom and android but have come up with donuts so far.

If anyone has any ideas, i'd appreciate it. cheers

A wireless IP Cam shoud work there's plenty of Andropid software for it and some cheapish small cams available. That's my plan anyway

Cheers

May need to be mounted inside but small is easy, they can be motorized as well so rotated from the Tablet. Handy for using it for reversing or hooking up the trailer.

Cheers

Yeah some good reasons. I'm in the process of mounting the 31in spare in the original position following go jeep. So I would have a clear view if mounted inside of the cab.

I wonder if the IP's were static on both the HTC device and the IP camera would it just work.
