Default advise on buying a jk
Hi all,i have joined this forum to gather as much information as i can about the Jk,so far i have found it excelant.I am trying to decide on weather to buy a new unlimited Rubicon ar a second hand one.the new price of around 50,000 is a bit daunting but i get a new car with waranty and will know its history.i have searched 2nd hand Rubicons and have a few questions;what is the differance between the 97,98,99 and 2010 models.There are a few 97 models out there with low kms,were there any problems with this years model as it was the first year od the new model,or should i be looking a a later model even if it has more kms on it.Buying 2nd hand would leave me more money for extras,but would loose waranty.I would like to here peoples thougths on this as i have been trying to decide for a while now and i realy want a Rubicon.

If you want a JK it must be 2007 and above otherwise you will be getting a TJ.
If you meant to say 2007 to 2010 then the minor difference will be present. SLightly bigger fuel tank, tyre pressure monitors and few minor conveniences. Hardtop in rubicon now standard not optional extra.
I have a 07 rubi and it rocks!
