Default Help with Locating Parts - CRD JK Wrangler

G'day, I was hoping that someone out there would be able to help me with an issue that I have with my 2007 CRD JK Wrangler.

I have broken the plastic housing that the fuel filter screws into. Given this was the first diesel wrangler, Jeep quickly worked out that the housing broke easily and have superseded it.

The new housing isn't compatible with the wiring harness in my car, so I either need the new housing and wiring harness, or an 2007 housing for the fuel filter.

Jeep have told my mechanic that they can get it in a few weeks. Have also tried a number of wreckers.

Any idea were I can get parts faster? (hopefully this all makes sense as I am passing on what the mechanic is saying).

Thanks for your help.

My mechanic ended up getting them from Jeep after a fair bit of jumping up and down as well as talking to people higher up the ladder. They should be here by Friday. Will let you know how they go.

Given they changed the design in 2008 as the part was crap, you would hope that they would supply the new parts for free. Its nice to hope.
