I just like the idea of Diy I guess

Plus I personally like the look and durability of the stainless tubing.

I think I'm going to mimick the airflow design by running into the back of the airbox instead of the front and then over the next few days make up my own airbox with a cone filter inside.

Will keep yous posted!

Cheers for the replys I appreciate it

Then with part of the hole cut into the back of the box, trimmed to silicone inside the existing front entry to seal it up.

Marked out using the supplied template

Hole drilled outside

Hole from inside to show room

Plastic pipe silicone sealed to back of airbox after drilling hole using same hole saw as for mudguard

Sealed original hole in front of box

Hose connected to back of airbox

Hose in place connected both ends

Finished item

Just wondering with the holes drilled into the fender the water bottle wasn't damaged or needed to be taken out while cutting?

Cheers
