This light is already disconnected for months, so can't be the source.

I rarely drive it, its just a weekend car (or mall crawler when i need more space ) and i have a second car for my daily driving, currently i just disconnect the battery until i use it.

Hah, just like me....

I do exactly the same. It sits in the garage all week long and only take it off on weekends. Was not much the last couple of months and just finished a paint job. I still have to replace my steering box bit then I hope that I can finally go on a weekend trip.
