I also like the quick take off pace if you need it was really dreading buying a diesel 4x4 because of how slow they are but from the first time I drove one on a test drive that sold me,even looking at buying a second one next year for the wife.

Amazing figures Mick, is your's standard? I take it you mainly do highway work?

Yes stock standard mainly bought it for towing my 6m caravan and to think I almost bought a Nissan Pathfinder but like I said after taking the Jeep for a run that was it. They told me for the first 10,000klm do not stay on the one speed and get up it or your fuel will not improve around town average 13.5/100klm due to me being a bit heavy on the foot but the last time I went away sitting on 108klm/hr average with cruise control when I fueled up the computer said I would get 780klm on a tank not bad.Unlike when I tow will get better towing fuel figures when I go away going to Victoria for a holiday soon.

Well back from holidays towing our van to Victoria going south against the wind 16.5l/100klm on cruise sitting on 100kph on way back 15L/100klm will get better if not on cruise but find travels best on cruise as the computer takes care of any small amount of sway the caravan gets with the sway control the Jeep has except of cause in strong gusty winds where I slowed down to 80 to 90kph.
