With 265/70R17 Micky Thompson MTZs and 2" lift they'll still rub the fender liner at the front when turning, and the lugs can hit the rear pinchweld under even compression (like hitting a dip at speed.).
The rear tucks ok on articulation since the tyre enters on an angle
Tyres with less aggressive corner lugs should be ok too.
Technically they stick out too far (maybe 15-20mm). I used another set of wheels for NSW blueslip, but haven't had any issues on the road.

Factory rims have +51 offset, the Wrangler Rubicon rims pictured have +44 the same as factory Commander rims. As Jeep offered the "Hulk" rims as an option which had +44 offset so you can go to +32 offset without running into trouble with Mr Plod.

AEV no longer make the (WK) Pintlers with the +25 offset.

My rims are +30 with 265/70/17.

With the front pinch weld mod & I have no rubbing under compression. I do however get rubbing on full lock (inner guard near sway bar) & the rear pinch weld as James described (like hitting a dip at speed).

Made the journey up to Bathurst for the 12 Hour endurance race last weekend. Awesome time but the heat was crazy camping on the mountain, excellent racing made up for it!
