Oh and I forgot to mention that Penrite ATF FS is what I use in the TC ... though I think BMV would also be suitable as its also supposed to be good for ATF+4 applications, maybe next time as I have used my stock of Penrite ATF FS..

THANKS Drover...as always you were correct....the CEL went out after going to pick up Pizza for tea tonight.....nice.....car runs sooooo smooth after the round trip....9.1/100....coolant sat around 63-65C most of trip...trans temp at 80C...ambients were pretty mild....12-23C.....Temps only climbed a bit when the 'go' pedal was 'carpet backed'.....bloody nice cars to drive and own....I can cop the 9.1 when its 'user' related.....figure = smiles/miles....

Good to hear mate, I was hoping that was it ......... My knowledge is thanks to being part of this informative site for many years and taking notes from those who venture into the dark mysteries of Jeep, reading heaps of journals and of course from many, many years of skin and blood on the concrete of the workshop as I played with the spanners..

Good to know about the Nulon tranny oil.
I just put some of that 10w-40 Nulon diesel oil thats rated cj4 you mentioned in my 2014 jeep, seems to run well on it!
