Default Rockauto TJ Wholesaler Closeout

I got an email from RockAuto today about a wholesaler closeout and a link to parts for my 97 TJ. Prices are pretty well marked down. If you are looking for anything, it may be a decent time to have a look.

Here is the link they sent me:

if you mean awesome in the literal sense. then you are correct

just priced a Fram air filter discounted to $5.71, freight to Australia $43.72 by mail or $68.77 FedEx priority

Awesome!

edit. I then selected a filter that wasn't on sale for $8.70 and the freight was listed at $23.99, WTF?

They have several warehouse across the US so I guess it probably depends on which warehouse its coming from. Maybe even direct from supplier is even more expensive. I've bought heaps of stuff from them and always heaps cheaper and faster than anyone else.

On something like a normal air cleaner, then yes it obviously works out much better to buy locally.

But to give you an idea of the pricing difference. I bought 4 oxygen sensors and a TPS from them, worked out at about $150US in total including shipping. Repco, supercheap and 2 other local suppliers here in sydney were more than that for just 1 oxygen sensor.

yeah I agree, have bought a ton of stuff off them myself over the years, but as my first post, always check the freight costs, and that regardless whether its rockauto or elsewhere
