I gotta agree. Having said that I always wash them before the start of a trip, that way you can tell at the end of the day how much fun you've had!
Anyway after the beasts drenching the today I've got a fault code come up. Fun times ahead for me!

New diff oil today, engine oil yesterday. Got the wheel alignment done turns out it was a degree and a bit out for toe on both front wheels. Back in spec today and steering straight.
The alignment guy reckons the steering felt straight and tight which is good. I think I'm on a winner here with this one.
Now I've just got to figure out the cause of the ticking rattle sound that started after the weekend's engine drenching, it sounds like a lifter stuck type noise but it could also be a loose spark plug, and get the engine fault light figured out. That'll be easy probably just a sensor.
BTW the lesson has been learned I have a snorkel en route to fix the utterly useless air intake they have stock.

Smashed into a Citroen today, at very low speed. Front bumper cover is cracked in several places and the oem tow hook is bent.
Bummer that my usual parts guy doesn't have any bumpers covers left.

Cheers mate, I was just working on making some shackle mounts, so now is the time to finish them.

Absolutely, but I will still want an oem cover for long trips. This one's done for...some zip-tie stitching and it will be ok off-road.
The Citroen I hit is banged up pretty bad, I almost completely missed the bumper and caved in the rear hatch, which won't open now. I feel bad for what I've done and for the fella I hit. Insurance will cover his damage but it will take some time.
