Default GC 2015 Diesel ECU tune

Hi all, had my GC serviced and tuned at Roo Systems on Friday and wanted to share my early experience. The low down power in the rev range is amazing, where it use to have a hole it’s power is more linear if that’s the word for it. I have a Dyno sheet for it showing before and after. I’ll try to upload the results.
I’m hoping the tune improves the fuel economy as I have slightly bigger tyres and noticeable lost economy. Will report back soon after doing a full tank or two.

Pretty good bump in HP and torque, I thought the new eco diesels would have put out more NM than that though. Still nothing to complain about power wise though. Cant wait to hear about the fuel economy bump.

Yes, I am looking at doing the same thing. The figures I am told are what they do at the wheels,
The touring and towing pack is what I'm after, will look with interest on how this tune goes as you report back............

Check out my Ride(s)
Default Roo Systems

I had mine tuned by Roo Systems in Nov last year. I was disappointed with the result really. I expected a better increase in power, and the economy when towing has not altered which was one of the main reasons for the tune. Attached before and after dyno results.

The output figures are 'at the wheels', not flywheel figures.

Your original output of 175.1 Hp (130.5 Kw) is in line with what mine was prior to my first tune. Your final figure is 198.1 Hp (147 Kw) whereas mine was 152.7 Kw.
Mine was done at Horsepower Factory in Dandenong Melbourne. Not sure if Roo Systems use a generic tune or not? I do know that mine was done to suit my engine, not generic.

I then had a custom exhaust system fitted, deleted the DPF and did a couple of other minor things, resulting in a final output figure of 175.5 Kw.

My economy improved, both towing and not towing. The biggest improvement was the torque. It went from the standard 570Nm to 724Nm.

Cheers, Craig

Does anyone know if the Stealership can detect if you do get (just) an ECU tune done??

Not only can they detect it, they can overwrite it with an update.

I'd be happy with standard power and torque outputs if I could lose the throttle lag and intrusive torque management.
