I though it was bad enough to be punched in the face by your Jeep when you crash, now it also shoots you as well ? Well, I guess it is an American build vehicle so it does make sense.
Not yet had any word on that from them, got a reminder for the S40 but I'm showing no codes and it's my understanding they'll say it's fine and no replace

I asked about that, my dealer said they were replacing them.

Got one of the Jeeps done on Friday last week, and the other one is due in on Thursday of this week.

Looks like a new plastic bit on the back on of the steering wheel, and the top of the steering column was replaced as well (they could have just cleaned them I suppose).

Still no news of the airbag modules, so yet another 2 days off work and 2 trips to Nowra...

Got mine booked in for next Monday. Took them a bit longer to source the parts due to the regional location.

Just got it done today......minor service and the S40 recall took a couple of hours.
The receipt lists a clockspring and shroud as "parts" @ no cost.....so I'm assuming they were replaced, since thats what they told me.

Both Jeeps are done now, for the S33 recall.

New clock spring and new cowl for both

At least my airbag light is now off on my Jeep :-D

Still can't drive up Kangaroo Valley without tripping the ESP on every single bloody corner, even in the stock Jeep

Still waiting on the S40? recall for the passengers airbag/shotgun to be done.
