Reviving this, I completely forgot about the Klune-V:
https://www.offroaders.com/directory...ts/klune-v.htm

Looks like the options use either a stock NP planetary gearset or a Tera-Low gearset.

If I ever run out of projects, I'll modify the stock NAG1 adapter to fit a planetary and get extra 2.72 reduction.

A short update, not encouraging though.
My crd doesn't like the 4:1 ratio while in low gear, unlike my friends which works fine without any can bus filters.

I've ordered a filter. This filter will also handle the auto locker in my back axle.

One difference between my setup and my friends setup. I've a bypass switch in the cabin with resistors instead of the trasfer case position sensor.

Will keep you updated.

BTW the 4:1 ratio is very nice!

Atlas transfer cases. In a world where money is no issue, wouldn’t it be nice?

Some update on this:

I started playing with the TCU software and looks like modifying the ratios and wheel size is easy

Not using Kaido's device? Are you going to give us any clues about hacking the TCU? I'd love to add a digital transmission display - temperature and gear. I'd also like to add a wheel-slip indicator (but that would come from the ABS module).
