How did his issue present itself? Maybe I should tell them about your friends experience.

Been at a shop now for over a week without sorting it out. It got worse and worse and half way to the shop, it stopped and never started again.

Cutting out more and more the capicitor or transistor was the hiccup in the box

Update here guys. ECU checked at ecu specialised ecu repair shop in UK, that one is OK.
Wiring loom from ecu to injectors spliced, inspected and measured, that one is OK also.

What the heck could it be? Anyone have any other ideas?

Mechanic is starting to suspect the injectors, even though it feels weird that they would go out all at once and one is just replaced with a refurbished one.
