Is it an off road trip or a paved road trip?

A few months ago I went down around Mt Tamborine as part of a driving course. Was a very nice drive. Shame we couldn't stay long. It was a paved trip and no off road but still nice.

Mine was a on road. Did small detour into forestry drive that was unsealed but still a proper road . Was a nice relaxing trip just a really enjoyable short trip . I'd do it again .

I went there a few months back and here are some of the more "challenging" tracks and I use the term loosely.

See the edited map for some nice places to drive. The majority of the tacks are fire trails.

The orange tacks are a little more difficult, very steep in places and probably closed in the wet.

Hey thats my local stomping ground. Living in Dayboro & owning a block at Mt Mee we always go through through the forestry rather than up the bitumen road.

Unfotunately they have shut off the better tracks over the last 2 - 3 years leaving only the easy to moderate tracks. As I live & work only 10 minutes away from the forest park I am always happy to go for a run if anyone wants. Just give me a call.

I do have the official forestry map but it is too large to scan & shows all the old tracks that are now closed.
