Good to hear that it's nothing too serious, it'll hurt for a while though but nothing more than that by the sound of it

Cheers
Steve

Jesus wept Mychelle, that's bloody terrible, but all repairable, thank God.

Geeez, i was up there and came home sunday morning. Some of the trails were very steep and my CJ jumped out of gear a few time's while reversing backwards down hill in low range. Luckily the brakes were working (Just) for me.
On the Saturday on a trail we almost lost 2 cherokee's down a steep hill that we were traveling across. Mopar's big full size Chero had to be left up there over night on saturday night as we were unable to recover it from its scary cliff hanging position. A recovery crew went up in the morning to try again but i am yet to find out if they got it back to camp o.k. Anyone heard anything??
It was a great weekend, and full of excitement. Great to meet lots of people and put some faces to names. Bit of bad luck on the sunday by the sounds of things. No one wants an injury. However, with an event such as this there are many helping hands for when unfortunate events do occur.
Best wishes to MB and hope for a speedy recovery.

Also, a huge thanks to Greg Moodie and the Cherokee Club for an excellent event.

Well the XJ was recovered sucsessfully and our trip had just passed the track the XJ was lost on when a call came over the radio that Michael had rolled and was seriously injured.Greg Moodie, our trip leader shot off back to camp to get help and alert the emergency services and stayed ther till an ambo arrived then escorted them to the crash site. The ambo could,nt climb the trail and had to air down. They assesed Michael and called for the Westpac chopper straight away.It arrived and landed on the camp ground and those parramedics were taken by Jeep to the scene.A second chopper was needed to winch him out cause the first winch was out of service.Iwill say that for something that is not practised ,by 4wd clubs the way the recovery of Michael went and the way it was co-ordinated everything worked out perfectly.Greg Moodie,Emu and a heap of other Jeepers did an xlint job in difficult situation.Thanx to the Cherokee Club for another top event.
