well worth ringing either a 2nd hand supplier or your regular tyre shop, and asking about used. Allow them time, and tell them you are a poor student (even if you are not). I have had mostly good luck doing this, and last time, he wanted to sell me some extra ones, but I already have too many wheel and tyres at home
in my case, it mainly cause I have several older vehicle that dont see many miles, and age always get them well before mileage.

I have had a vibration issue recently since fitting a new set of 31's. Vibration only occurred at over 80 km/hr when I hit a slight bump like the joints in a bridge. It would start a slight shake & then get worse. If I was accelerating when I hit the bump it would be worse. To stop it I had to jab the brakes. If I had my foot off decelerating when I hit it, no shake. I have just replaced the steering dampner & the problem has gone away.

yep, they all gotta be the same, (or at least both fronts same and both rears),,guess i got lucky with 5 near new, I can only assume they come off 4wds that are upgrading wheel size
Of course the tyre shop will probably treat you like the biggest cheapskate idiot that ever walked in, cause they want to sell new.
The proprietor is my mate for 30+ yrs, they look after me very well, always buy new tyres for my Mrs car there
If he hasnt got em, I just walk up the road, and their is 2 other places
as to your 20yr old vehicle having faults...thats why ppl trade their bitch in after 3yrs. Dont panic, just fix them one at a time, you will be miles ahead

Thanks mate appreciate it. Yeah I have a set of wrangler atsa's on it, they look mint for what I want. The two fronts are a month old and the rears are 4yo but near new tread. I'll ask around and see if anyone has any but I doubt it in my size.
Yeah hahahaha a 23yo car that sat for 3-4 years is having problems. Big shock! Just giving me the shits ATM, nearly replaced everything and I do have two cars which is one more issue... Once it stops vibrating and leakin so much it'll be good.
