Decided friday arvo to go away for the weekend... my trailer still isn't finished at the fabricators yet so I had to rough it!
Towed the trailer down for dad coz he had to stay behind and wait for my sis to finish work!
It had only just stopped raining when I got to the start of the gravel road, or mud highway!
Definately had some cleaning to do!

Having fun with the Commander in the Pyrenees near Avoca.
This was in my wife's 2007 Commander Limited Anniversary Edition. It has a 2" lift and Jeep Wrangler Tyres (32"). The Command Drive II works extremely well, I just wish you can manually turn off the lockers because corners can be difficult to manage when the front locker engages.

It's good to see another Commander driver putting their car through the rough stuff and lifting a tyre occasionally. The Commanders handle these hill climbs with ease!

Here's a video taken last weekend from inside the Commander whilst going up one of the extreme hills behind Tower Hill in the Glass House Mountains just north of Brisbane.
There are a number of rocky jump ups along the way.
You can also hear the new 3" exhaust rumbling away below.

Glass House Mountain Night Run Nov 2013
Here's a few photos from last Saturday night. There had been storms hitting the area over the week and we weren't sure what the condition of the tracks would be like. It turned out they were fantastic, not too much dust and not impassable with too much mud.
We had 3 cars, 1 x 08 lifted Hilux lock front and rear, 1 x lifted Patrol locked front and rear and 1 x Commander with a 2 1/2 lift
