AJOR & Freight Mgmt Short Film competition 2011

Ausjeepoffroad.com in association with Freight Management Australia is proud to announce its first Short Film competition with $1500 in CASH available to be won!



Simply generate a movie using your own footage, post the video on Youtube and a link in this thread. The winning video will be the one with the most views at the competition close date, so get in there early. Make sure you read the full terms below before you enter to ensure you follow the guidelines.



Terms and conditions of the AJOR / Freight Management Short film contest 2011

1. TITLE FIRST OPENING SCREEN SHOT
The Freight Management Australia / Ausjeepoffroad short film competition 2011 (followed by AJOR member name - ____________). This to be shown on the first and last screen shot of short film.

2. HEADER or FOOTER IMAGE THROUGH MOVIE
Freight Management Australia/ AJOR www.ausjeepoffroad.com short film 2011. To be a permanent (subtle) title shown at the top or bottom of film for duration of short film (small and certainly not to block the view of the video)

3. Video to be no less than 3mins No more than 10mins in length with the film based around Jeeps and 4wd'ing. Can be anything you want but needs to be Jeep/4wd based. Can be fictional, a how to, a trip, a doco, a comedy anything but needs to be interesting to win.

4. All videos must be uploaded to YOU TUBE Embedded video posted in 2 threads Video Sticky Thread and below in this thread.

5. All video's to be uploaded to YT no earlier than the competition startdate (in order to ensure everyone has the same amount of time for viewing). The video posted dated shown on YT will confirm this.

6. Tags/keywords must only relate to video and must be visible for all to see. No trying to sneak views in by using tags like slut, sex, boobs etc only car related.

7. Final number of views obtained on YT must be submitted by the video's owner in the You Tube video voting thread by (time/date)(eg 12pm Saturday) at which time thereafter the thread will be immediately closed. Miss posting your view numbers by this deadline and you are out of the competition. Number of views must be exact at the time of posting view numbers and video entrant should take a screen shot of the final tally of views (for authorisation and proof in the event of a dispute).

8. The Short Film AJOR Member voting/poll thread will run the duration of the comp and close 1 hr after YT thread is closed.

9. Judging to be done and winner announced by the most views/highest talliedscore. This will be decided as follows.
• You Tube video views (1 view = 1 point)
• Will be added to the AJOR member poll results obtained from thread
• Poll votes from thread by AJOR members (1 vote = 10 points)
• The winner decided by the highest number of points obtained from both YT hits and POLL.

Example 10 You Tube views (10 points) plus 10 AJOR votes (100)=110 points

10. YOUR SUBMISSION
a) Any cheating or dishonesty will see that person disqualified from competition.
b) Submitting the film earlier than opening date will require that member to delete video from You Tube and repost with all prior views being voided or be disqualified from competition.
c) Tags/keywords must be directly related to video. Any words deemed as inappropriate with intent to falsely boost search ranking and view numbers dishonestly will require member to delete and repost video or face disqualification.
d) Final view figures posted in YOU TUBE thread must be accurate to the time view numbers declared. Declaring view numbers higher than actual will mean instant disqualification. To avoid any disputes take a screen shot of You Tube views and keep for your own records in case of any dispute.


PRIZES

For all this effort and work Freight Management Australia will give away
$1500.00 in prize money and will be awarded as follows:

1st prize = $1000.00
2nd prize = $300.00
3rd prize = $200.00


Video submission/entry date (Upload to You Tube) from 12.01am Sat 9th July 2011.

Closing date and submission of view results to thread by 11:59pm Sat 17th Dec.

Poll closes Monday 31st Dec 2011

Results will be added up/counted and winners will be announced January 20th 2012.

Below is a copy of the Freight Management and Ausjeepoffroad.com logo to be used in short film as outlined above.



All videos may be used by Ausjeep or Freight Management to promote both business and websites as part of participating in this competition and accepting a prize.

Open to anyone and everyone. Staff, admin, mods, new, or old, you just need to be a registered AJOR member. Should be a great competion and looking forward to the video's.

Luckily we just brought some in car cameras. Unfortunately my Jeeps off the road till the steel guys redo my bullbar.
Can't wait to see some good videos though. Maybe I'll film my bullbar build for a how to.
