Default JK Wrangler death wobble

Am thinking of trading in my current JK for the JL but wondering if the JL has problems with death wobble.

Anyone know?

I have driven my 2 door JL between Sydney , Canberra and Newcastle at highway speeds.

I have no mods and no death wobble!

I love my Jeep!

I’m solely a TJ guy, but I can tell you that death wobble is all in the suspension geometry. Lift it 50mm and everything else has to be replaced an adjusted price accordingly. Heaps of TJ’s have wobble, but not many did when they left the factory. People are now raising them, putting on bigger tyres, beefing up trackbar, axles ect.. I had it bad in mine until I worked it out and also keep tyre pressures, wheel balancing and alignment spot on.

Haven't heard anything, but as FishFrame says Death Wobble is usually associated with something being adjusted with the suspension...usually a driveway job. With my 2 TJ's, XJ and now JK it almost always comes down to either replacing one part but not considering how it affects the geometry, or considering all that but not using a torque wrench when you're under there and a little wiggle can work its way through a lot of parts.

I'd imagine the JL is fine unless you mess with it. But if you do either do it right or pay someone to do it right for ya!

Be aware it can happen with any solid axle vehicle, not just Jeeps. The more you modify your suspension, the more chance of it if not done correctly. Having said that DW has occurred in stock vehicles not far out of the dealship floor so go figure
