Default 2014 KL 4Wd front pad change/ tyre size

Hi All
it appears my front pads are getting a bit thin and am a bit apprehensive about changing them since I stuffed up my ZJ ones
the main questions are

Do I need to reset the computer
Can I just push the pistons back and not have to change them as the ZJ's

have done a you tube search but would like the good oil

oh and a part number for decent a/market pads that we may get here in NZ.

also due for new tyres very soon have been offered a set of 255/65/17 dunlop at for a very sharp price, has 245/65/17 fitted and on the door placard
they appear to be 2 percent larger but 10mm wider, I think they should fit and not rub
2nd thoughts anybody
mainly hiway running and towing as well

Thanks

Sorry! - only just saw this and I know it's way out of date and prolly all sorted by now, but yeah I've ended up really headscratching about this. Aftermarket suppliers in Aus are likely to just say "Huh?" and stealerships will no doubt charge $$$.

My plan is to look thru USA supplier listings and find one that feels comfortable and reliable as far as applicability goes - Summit Racing will be my first stop but there's also CarID and Rock Auto.

You'll also get em from overseas for at least half the local price...
