Default new grand cherokee laredo

Well I don't know. Because you came on here ranting about codes, you were given an answer as to what caused these codes and you're clearly still not satisfied with the answer for some reason so you came into a forum to complain instead of complaining directly to Jeep (which you still haven't sated you've done!) so one can only conclude with the facts you have presented that your mrs did in fact drive with feet on both pedals. Perhaps you should explain things more clearly before going off the deep end at everyone else first.

I wasn't ranting about codes, I stated a 2 day old jeep was displaying one, and I didn't think the dealer was being truthful. ozjeepster pointed out its highly possible for a code being thrown if brake and accelerator are pressed while driving, the Mrs doesn't drive like that so time will tell if it comes back . they did also say that our Laredo didn't come with the reverse camera and they can fit one for $800 so how can I trust them? doesn't give me a lot of confidence

That is just an outright lie, and I would reacted in a relevant offended manner to them as to why they are lying to you.

The Jeep MY14 Grand Cherokee Specifications Guide clearly states the following as standard equipment for the Laredo.

> ParkView® rear back-up camera(2)*
*Dealer fitted item, late availability

ParkView® Rear Back-Up Camera(2)* — Rear-mounted camera with display, activated when vehicle is shifted into Reverse

The Jeep Au website gets it wrong though, it has mixed it up with the Limited (Limited shows Laredo Spec) so don't refer to that, as it says it included Dynamic grid lines which it doesn't. It may come with lines (part of the camera), but they aren't dynamic.

I would be going off my tits at them for trying to steal from me.

FYI, the camera will more than likely be complete crap, especially at night or if there is direct light nearby.

Here are some examples.

I was lucky in that I only waited 2 weeks for my camera. It's crappy, but at least I can see behind now!

Obviously you've never had to drive through the brakes on difficult down hill rutted / rocky tracks. Standard practice for people who know how to drive their fourby in low range....

It's called left foot braking and is used to control speed while maintaining forward / reverse motion.

Well I drove the jeep today . sitting on 100km cruise control on and the ETC light comes on and check engine light also, 600km on the clock still on its first tank of diesel, and its back to the dealer I go for the second time in a week .

Its defiantly gone into limp mode bogs right down when taking off from a stop
Not a happy customer looks like I've got a lemon on top of the reverse camera they want $800 to fit that's meant to be standard !

I'd be going up to the dealer principal and whipering the letters ACCC in his ear,

....... mind you I did take Jaguar Land Rover Australia to the Federal Court under the Trade Practices Act for telling me that driving a Land Rover Discovery on a dirt road constituted "abuse of the vehicle", just because a wheel broke and they wanted $1800 for a new wheel!..... the Judge lauged at them (seriously - he did!).....I got a free wheel.
