Hey guys,
Thanks for all your replies...
Totally agree @banshee and @nanook and @lujabe has evidence of it right there...It all sounds familiar to what I've heard in previous car communities before...I thought maybe mods externally and less on the engine performance / enhancement side it might've been more accepted from 4wd company's considering the lifestyle & culture of off-road usage...
I'll head to my local Jeep dealership(Parramatta) and have a chat with them, tbh I just want a decent bull bar + winch -so atleast i can get myself out of trouble, and maybe some all terrain tyres.
Maybe MOPAR might be the go for now...I'll let you guys know what they say..
Cheers,
Ryan

If you are looking at an aftermarket bulbar, then maybe go for one of the reputable brands like TJM or ARB.
If push ever came to shove over a warranty claim you'll have more of a leg to stand on then if you fitted a Chinese ebay special.
I'm not sure what Jeep supply as a dealer fit bulbar, but there must be something. Most dealers of all makes align themselves with aftermarket suppliers.
Mopar also supply a 2" lift through the dealership. Not sure what the brand of shocks they use but the springs are Lovells. There is a bit more body roll with the Mopar kit but you can always change it out once the warranty expires. I kept my Lovell springs but replaced the shocks with Fox and it tightened the ride right up.

There is a Mopar 10th anniversary bar that can mount a winch, but expect to pay through the roof.

I see what you're saying, I haven't had a chance to go into TJM or ARB, however i saw a good looking smittybilt bumper from SBR with an optional winch too haha > http://www.sbroffroad.com.au/Smittyb...Modular-Bumper
That lift could be something to enquire about - did you get that?

The Smittybilt XRC is a really good looking bar. I was considering one for a while there.
Mine had the MOPAR 2" lift when I bought it. Even though I've owned plenty of 4WDs over years I come from a performance car background. Because of that, I found the OEM lift too floaty and there was too much body roll for my liking. I kept the original springs but replaced the shocks with Fox performance ones and it tightened it right up.
