Default JK 2.8L Diesel Serpentine Belt Alignment

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has has trouble with the Serpentine Belt Alignment. My engine has travelled 320,000km. I had a serpentine belt running on 4 ribs for 6 months. Two mechanics told me that it was probably the tensioner pulley. Replaced the tensioner pulley and a new belt. Two days later, 4 ribs again. The mechanic had told me it could be the crank puller / harmonic balancer. Has anyone got any ideas..Also a part number for the harmonic balancer/crank pulley.

Thanking you in advance if you can help.

Do you need VM part No or Chrysler's? Chrysler/stealership parts can be very expensive.

Default Looking for either number

Hi

Thanks for your replies. I'm in Sydney but travel North, South and West of Sydney a fair bit. I do a lot of Highway kms, a few little complaints but over time/kms it seems to be running ok.

The Mopar number is ok but the VM is just as good. A number from a secondary supplier/manufacturer, anything as when I look on the net I always find the earlier models.

Thanking you in Advance
