Default 2" Body Lift in TJ

Hey Guys.

Just a quick question...
Is there anything that needs to be replaced or adjusted to fit a 2" body lift on a 2001 TJ?

Brake lines, lines, fuel filler?

I have ordered a few things from the states and they require a 1" body lift but I would rather 2".

Thanks for the help.

Hope Im the first one in OZ to have the Full Traction 6" Kit.. hehehe, have to mirror a few things first. Bloody shipping would have killed me if I didn't scam something up.

Is that the new long are Full traction kit??
You'd better keep us posted on THAT one..... :D :D :D
As for the 2" BL - if you are getting it as a kit it will contain everything you need (if it's a decent brand)...
If you are making it up yourself then you'll need to consider the following adjustments/mods to work:
- 11 Body spacers & longer bolts,
- 2 guard knobbie exentions (front of the wheelwell),
- Fuel line & return extentions,
- Steering column mount lift,
- Tcase linkage bracket,
- If you have air cond - you'll need to notch about 1" sq from the radiator mounting flange,
- If you don't do a MM lift you'll need to lower the Radiator mounts,
- You'll probably need to bend the shifter so you can still change gears (although I didn't)...
- Locktight & torch wrenches vital...

I think there's a few other bits but that's all that springs to mind as I sit here on a cold Sunday morning....

Thanks Wooders,

Yeah its the new 3link/4link 6" long arm kit from Full Traction. Can't wait....have to but! :D

Getting some guys overseas mirroring some parts for the RH drive model.

Fitted a Tom Woods Double Cardenal Driveshaft last week with a 4.0:1 tera low kit and a SYE

Need to get some feed back on what tyres ro run. Thinking of the new Krawlers (BFGoodrich.)

Need to do a body lift to get the suspension set up right, but Supercharger Kit required a 1" bodylift kit aswell for the intercooler. If I didn't intercool it I wouldn't need one, but I'm a strong beliver in them. Especally in Ozzie conditions.

Anyone you guys know that do a 2" body lift kit drive in drive out and who can do it?

going to have some busy (long nighted) weekends when I get all this stuff!

Cheers.

It's not that hard to DIY either - I performed my BL in my garage over a few mights & plenty of beers...
