Aza, I have a PITA wobble that starts at 77kph & stops at around 80kph and a weird "knock" coming from my steering column that I've just noticed when going over bumps.

This all only started after the 31" MTZ's went on. Took it back to re-check alignment & balance and they spent ages on it. Verdict - No alighnment/balance issues.

The chap found a bolt down the bottom literally hanging off & re-tightened. He also grabbed the long steering column/shaft thingie pushing it back & forward and demonstrated there was a LOT of movement. (sorry to be so vague, I forgot the bits' names).

This Tough Dog rtc steering arm came up really cheap from a felllow member & girlie logic (which I should crush) made me think it may help, especially as I've got the 2" OME lift going in And the reality/bad news is .....

Well, it's quite simple dearest Alex ... when you see my handle, ignore, skip the thread, hit back, or do some work rather than use bandwith

Which particular bit sickened you this time ... better not be the lack of knowledge bit 'coz I'll take very strong offence at that bucko or "Oh Great One".

In the meantime, I shall patiently await Aza's thoughts on my answer to his question below ... I believe he is "currently on holidays".

Damn it Red, they haven't got my colour though I couldn't get that link to work, but I was actually looking at a top notch set out of Canada earlier today. Emma would love the purple ones to go with the purple shock boots.

At the risk of driving Alex nuts again, not that I give a toss, I can happily report that Hammonds in Capalaba Qld. have 50 Shockie Boots arriving end of next month in ALL colours. Cost is $7.53 ea

If you are going to run shockie boots.....

Make sure that you zip tie the ends very well. Once dirt/mud/water get in there, it's out of sight out of mind...

Rusty, rOoted shocks.

Nothing wrong with purple

You want purple booties? Give Marky a call

Thanks for that advice re zip ties, would a silicone ring as well be a good thing? I wouldn't have thought of doing any of that 'coz girlie logic tells me they're always in the mud/wet without booties on, but, on reflection, they would of course trap & hold it inside so I can see the importance of total sealing. Bit like those disc rotor thingies
