Default Jeep JL Wrangler MY2018 First Recall

What are the defects?
Affected vehicles may have foreign debris inside the steering shaft rubber boot.

What are the hazards?
Foreign debris inside the steering shaft can result in binding of the steering shaft, causing a loss of steering control and an accident risk. Potentially causing serious injury or death to occupants of the vehicle and other road users.

What should consumers do?
FCA Australia will contact owners of the affected vehicles and request they take their vehicles to an authorised Chrysler Jeep and Dodge dealer to be repaired. The repair will be carried out at no cost to the owner.
