It seems that a sensor fault came up, so am getting both cam and crank sensors replaced.
Here's hoping LOL

Which code did it throw?
TPS and IAC or CPS all common failures but easy to fix. The vehicles are now 15+ years old, I always carry these as spares on big trips.

I didn't see the fault code, just going on what the auto elec found. What are those 3 that you typed?
Am hoping to get car back today, been a while as postage up here is a 3 day minimum and there was a problem with the 1st postage. It went to the wrong post box and got sent back Grrrrr.

Well still waiting to get car back from sparkies, replacing sensors erased the fault codes but it still was doing the stalling thing.
Anyway spoke to my Jeep guy back on the Gold Coast and he seems to think it's the coil pack shorting out. Told the sparky that and he agreed so ordered a replacement one, I asked if there's different ones and he said probably not.
Well guess what, there's 2 different ones and I got sent the wrong one, so am now waiting for a 2nd hand one as the only new ones are on the east coast.
Over 3 weeks now, 1st lot of sensors where sent to wrong address, now waiting for a 2nd coil pack as was sent the wrong one.
It takes 3 to 4 working days for mail to reach here from Perth, so times that by 4 with a couple of weekends thrown in and it's starting to add up.
Any ways here's hoping that by Wednesday I'll have my Jeep back, getting so over this

Still not going, finally sorted out coil pack problem (wireing/plug) and it's still doing the warm motor engine stopping.
Stressing that no dash lights come on as in a stall, just motor goes dead.
Ugggggg Grrrrr almost bald here now (well wasn't far off it anyway LOL).
Replaced cam and crank sensors and now also coil pack what else??????
Sparky just rang me and told me all this and then noticed the fuel filter was all damp, could this be it?
