Im after some plans or a few good pics of your skids, home made or brought.

Fuel tank skid

Gearbox skid (tummy tucker)

Engine sump protecter

Steering box protecter

Cotrol arm protecters

Time to make the jeep bullet proof... i mean rock proof

I dont believe there is much in the way of control arm protectors but i hope i'm wrong. I think you just have to try and get bullet proof control arms

Its more the control arm mounts on the diff protectors i think....somewhere in the US sells em

Make your arms out of 1 inch shed 80 or larger then you will have no worries i had the GQ resting on my rear arms made out of 1 1/2 inch shed 80 they held up

yer i ment the mounts. Iv seen people weld flat bar across the front of the diff mounts but i thought i would ask anyway.

Yeah i bent my front lower control arm mounts. Doing something stupid but im thinking hard about bracing it too. Have you any pics of this welded flat bar to strengthen the mount?

I'll be doing that soon - simple & very cheap....
One thing I've observed - it more common with those that have non "Flex" style of arms....ie some way for the arms to relieve the binding pressure on the brackets....be that joints at the ends of the arms (insead of bushes), threaded/other method of one end able to twist relative to the other, etc....
