Default Aseembling a Teralow 4:1 TF case with 2Low. (NP231)

Well my parts finally arrived and I managed to assemble the case last night to test if everything works as it should. I must say that I am very impressed with this product and it certainly is a lot beefer and adds a couple of kilos to the overall weight of the transfer case. I'll be pulling it apart tonight to put sealant on all the flange faces and hopefully it will be back in the car by the end of day.

Here are the pics....

New vs Old, you can't see it that well on the photo but the Teralow is so much thicker than the old NP231 case

Internals of the teralow case

After installing the front driveshaft output bearing and seal.

I installed everything in the back section of to case to check if the chain was going to rub on my modifications.

Again the photo doesn't show it very well but there was planty of room.

This one was ok as well, you beauty!

2low shifter on the left, notice the extra shift notch.

Inside of the case with the front output bearing and seal installed.

New 2low shfter on the right

Still on the right

4wd indicator, selector cam installed

Main driveshaft, shfthub, shift fork, range hub and new range fork installed

Another angle

Front output shaft, drive chain and shift spring installed

Oil pump inserted in back cover

Back cover attached

Speedo wheel on.

Rear ouput yoke and cover installed

The new look rear case, with oil level indicator

The shinny new front cover, you can see the 4wd indicator connection and where the TF case lever attaches to.
