mount the antenna on the roof rail... the higher the better

it's best placed in the most middle as possible of the vehicle

Default KJ Antenna Mount Resurection

So what happened with this, is there a great functional antenna mount for the rear tyre mount on the KJ?

I'm about to mount my external Next G antenna, and have been looking closely at the rear tyre carrier as possible location (which would allow me to leave it on and still get into the garage). I know the roof rack would be best and I may have to go that way, but I'd like to know what Fouros did eventually, and anyone else that has done it.
