WH CRD Auto Problem
I have had a couple of instances now where the tranny sticks in third gear and will not change up or down as if in limp home mode or something, no lights, chimes or codes. Shut the car down and re-start and all is well again. Had the fluid changed recently, made no difference. Anyone else had this happen? I get the felling it is the TCM on the way out.
Regards Ross.

If fluids are good & codes read from a dealer then I would say its the "Conductor Plate".

It's definitely trans limp mode, need to get a proper scan of the Tcm codes to find why.

Nope trans limp can occur in any gear, depends on when it finds the issue. Full limp locks it in 2nd for sure.

Ross did the trans go into soft limp before or after the fluid change - and was a new Mopar Filter put in as part of that process?
Did it happen under normal driving conditions or towing?
