Dragging up an old thread here, but in the market for some spotties but not looking to see the nits on a roo at 1,000m, so also dont want to spend a weeks wages.
Been looking at the Roo Lites 180's as what seems to be a good compromise, and with a set of spread beam covers give the best of both options (bout $210 for the lights and $55 for the lenses)
Or, went down to OL today to have a sticky beak and they have a set of imitation IPF800 200mm with clear covers and full wiring loom etc for $297 in one spread one spot. Imitation is not technically correct, as they are apparently made by the same company that makes the IPF for ARB and are to be honest impossible to tell the difference.
$300 is pretty much my limit, and as mentioned I dont need a kilometre to pull up a road train!
