Finally got around to fitting the Sakura filter. Didn't want to post any details until I knew it would fit.

It is slightly loose in the bracket but all the vital dimensions are correct. I fitted a small piece of rubber to tighten the bracket.

P/N FC-2204

Cost $20 from filter resources in Rockhampton

Wesfil do a fuel filter for the CRd wrangler.

Part number is WCF12

now i cant seem to get off the damn old fuel filter to change my new one!

any help?

i count about 10 suitable aftermarket fuel filters - hengst, mahle, bosch, alfa romeo etc, but they were all 15mm longer than oem. that's why they are never cross referenced with oem.
i tryied to fit bosch and it was a tight fit length wise. the wif sensor wires were pressed against the skid plate. didn't like it. the only aftermarket of the same dimensions was crown. since we bought 'em heaps.
what about sakura?
