THREAD NECROMANCY!
Why start another, when this is already here, right?
OK, so the d34 yello top is dying, slowly. Charges at 14.4 when driving, but after sitting an hour or so it will be down to 12-12.6V. (That's after leaving the charger on overnnight a few times, as well. So it is fully charged.)
I figured I'd ask what people are using now and how they have lasted since you put them in. The d34 Yellow has lasted me at least 3 years, but I'm looking before it "suddenly stops working"...
Marine batteries look like a good start, with the deep cycle design, extra terminals & vibration esistance.
The alternate question is: What good chargers are there, that can test & revive (for a while) an aging battery?
