Does anyone know if there is an after market fuel filter now out for the CRD?
I know that there is an oil filter from Wesfilter and Autobarn sell them for around $20.00 they also stock the air filters...but not been able to find fuel filters...
I thought there might have been a company here in Oz that does one..I looked at the link and when you work out the import cost it comes out to be close to the price the dealer sells them.....
Correction to the link..at present price is $20.05 us and another $90.00 us to just ship one over...there might be a bulk saving...Thanks for your input.
I have been told by my local filter shop that Sakura now make fuel filters for the CRD. When the two I've ordered come in, I will make sure they do fit then post the part numbers in the replacement parts sticky.
Price quoted was $19.90 each. Fingers crossed they fit

could you also let us know who sells them, as i guess sakura is a brand name. i live in perth and have not been abe to source an aftermarket filter as yet. thanks.
I had my JK serviced on Monday at a local mechanic and he charged me $26 for a genuine oil filter... Doesn't sound like there's really much benefit in going after market if $6 is all you save??
But I know this is not about oil filters, hopefully there are some bigger savings in store for fuel filters?
