Default Jeep Assist or NRMA

My warranty is now over and I need to either renew with Jeep Assist or go with NRMA. I've only used J-Assist once and they were OK, didn't really need anyone to come and look at the Jeep so I'm not sure what is better. I've always had NRMA and they have been good in the past.

So I thought I'd ask what others have done.

I've got NRMA Premium cover which gives you about $3000 worth of benefits a year e.g. towing, car hire and accomadation.

It costs about $130 for the year but if you travell a bit it's worth it.If you break down in woop woop and need a tow to the closest Jeep dealer which may be several 100's of k's and the tow bill is a $1000 and a hire car for a day or two and some where to stay then a $130 will seem cheap.

They'll even tow your caravan or trailer.

A few years ago my XJ seast to function in Nyngan, so with the XJ on the back of the tilt tray the caravan hitched to the back and the family in the twin cab the towy took us home to Sydney(about 650k's and you have to pay for the return trip to) the tow bill for that was $1300.

And that's only one story(i've got my moneys worth out of them)

I assumed that Jeep assist just sent the NRMA or someone like that out.
With Holden assist on my last company car when it stoped working in Ballina I rang Holden assist they just sent out the local NRMA guy.

if you're towing then look at NRMA, because you'll need their towing package anyway on top of the jeep assist. Jeep assist wont help you tow your camper/caravan anywhere if you break down, they are only interested in the car.
