With two Jeeps, I found portable is the only option. I bought a battery box and 120 AH AGM battery from Kings. I hook this up to a solar blanket when the weather is good, and have an AC charger for wherever there is power. Mainly run a 47L ARB Fridge/Freezer. Takes much of the overnight to recharge the 120 AH battery on AC power, but then you're good for a few days. It is a cheep and cheerful setup.
However, if you want to step up to Lithium power, it can be pricey. Something like the example below has a high up front cost, but is much lighter (than an AGM) and lasts longer. For now, I am happy with my basic setup. It does the job without fuss.
