Default 2012 Grand cherokee 5 SPEED BOX temp issue

Guys,
Please i need some help, Long story.
Firstly my 5 speed transmission is usually running at about 105c (slowly climbs to this over 40mins driving), thermo fans kick on at full speed when over 95c.
I have done so much to try fix this,
Firstly full trans service, didnt fix
2nd, took to jeep for diagnostic they said trans overfilled, removed some oil still no fix
3rd, installed external cooler, 0 change to temp
4th done jeep diagnostic again they said temp sensor on valve body inside trans is failed. Replaced whole transmission and converter, still no change
5th took it back to jeep again they saying wrong oil was used (Penrite ATF FS reccomended by penrite)
Now they are wanting the car again for another possible 3 hours or longer diagnostic to sort it out.
This has been a very very very costly exercise and keep getting run around from jeep, im at a loss as to what to do. I just want the thing fixed so the thermo fan is not screaming at full speed constantly.

Please give me some info or what the hell do i do?

Others will chime in, but when you post on the forum seeking advice it's useful to know what model/engine your WK2 is and where you are located. Most in here will recommend staying away from dealers, there's plenty of excellent Jeep independent workshops around that members can point you to, and who are way more effective than dealers.

Ok....firstly...STOP going to Jeep....take your car to a Transmission Specialist...they do as the name says....SPECIALISE in Transmissions...Jeep DONT.....Secondly...if all has been changed out n you still have an issue, its NOT the Transmission.....it definitely sounds like the thermostat valve in the tranny line...external to the tranny, or a blockage in the cooling lines/radiator....next, the Penrite product you used IS the correct fluid..there are other new to the market and advisory info table that can be used, but, what was used IS correct....then, the temps you mention that your tranny is/has been running at are WAY to high....80C is common for these boxes, rising to maybe low to mid 90's when 'working hard'....when mine 'let go' it hit 103C and I instantly pulled over looking for a leak/fault.....very long thread here about that...BUT....you HAVE already replaced the tranny and converter, sooooo, your problem is NEITHER of those 2x parts.....
SUGGESTION : Find a tranny shop that specialises in European cars...ours arent the EXACT Merc tranny, but share many similiarities....again....I stress, by your info the issue is NOT your tranny...however, the shop may, if given info by you, look at the thermostat valve and a blockage in the radiator/cooling lines...you say you have fitted an aftermarket tranny cooler....soooooo.....its MOST likely to be the thermostat valve....that doesnt mean it is...it is just the MOST LIKELY source of your issue....DONT let the Dealership touch it again...ever....use a workshop that specialises in whatever issue you are facing...if you put your locale into your ID members will give you suggestions as to who to use...NOT a Dealership.
It certainly sounds like a simple issue that has been misdiagnosed and has cost you a freakkin fortune !!!....I know by experience just what a replacement tranny costs, then theirs the converter, aftermarket cooler plus labour plus plus plus.....feel for ya buddy.

Behind you 100% Farwest...Dealers from my own past experience are more than happy to fleece you day after day, then still have no clue what the actual problems are...

Once we know where you are Simmo those here will definitely point you in the right direction...

Mate....change tranny shops.....they DO have a thermostat valve....great stuff putting your locale on here....from my limited knowledge but from recommended shops.....GDL in Hornsby and Jeeps'r'Us in Coffs are EXPERTS....call each...costs next to nothing to ask....there are a few guys located close to, or in Newy on here....hoping they step in with a Tranny shop to use....help is on its way...as the Little River Band once said....GOOD LUCK
