Here's a couple of pics of my cage Maddog, this is built to CAMS spec and involved a heck of a lot of work.I also opted for the steel roof and built in cargo barrier.

now THAT is a nice cage!

Can I ask why you have cross members in the top AND the back? is that required, or just added for additional protection?

Who built it for you and how much was it if you don't mind me asking?

Also, have you got any photos of where it goes through the dash at the front?

There's a suspiscious looking car in the background that looks like Matt Nolte's...

Would he consider making a second cage? (depending on cost of course)

The TBT one is great for social use and works really well with the stock main hoop - but when you compare to where the CCDA rule are headed - the stock main hoop is probably below standard. Plus to really met the regs you really need to do some mods to the boltin cages.
But the flip side is the rules still seem to have some inconsitencies and flaws - So spending a lot of time & $ to try and met rules that will probably change is frustrating.......
Hence for comp use (for class A events) custom built cage is probably the only way to go in the future.

BUT I'd still hightly recommend the TBT for social use and infact I find it amazing that so many people (yes including myself perviously) go and do lifts etc that adversely effect the cog and chance of rollover, but do nothing about ROPS..... and for these people I still belioeve the TBT style of cage is ideal.
