lol! Yes. Electric discos can be limiting in extreme flex as I found out on a steep diagonal off camber slope. In order to advance forward you'd have to crawl slowly and gently land the tyre that's up in the air so you don't roll it sideways down te ravine!!

A proper disconnect would have had the tyre on the ground providing traction and support and be far less scary..

It'll be good to have both on and available to suit the conditions.

Installed the rear bar, skewer and cut the original third brake light. Fabricating the Hi Lift carrier next

Getting my RAM mounts started - going to chop and change parts of the arms with different length bits to get better clearance for the lock down knobs

Nice setup mate. Would you have any piccies with the screens on the mounts? If possible, I'd like to see them as I'm about to order the same/similar.

Where did you get your ram mounts from?

Cheers

I'll charge the iPad up this weekend so I can get a pic of the phone (iPhone 6+) and Garmin 2797 mounted in there - going to do a test run with them both this morning on the way to work hehe

The base is from a guy in the states under the name of Outback Engineering and the kit comes with a standard length and short length arm, I also grabbed the x grip from him also - the flex arm, joined ball thingy and the Garmin mount were sourced from johnny Appleseed here in Aus
