Superchips flashpaq 3874 F5 gas
Hi, I know this has been discussed before but has anybody bought and successfully used a superchips flashpaq 3874 f5 on a 2005 wh grand Cherokee hemi. I purchased one a few months back based off the fact that I'd read that a lot of people in Aus have used them successfully. I performed the update then have tried multiple times to tune but it just says "no application for this vehicle" or "contact customer service". It will read and clear codes but that's it. I have sent multiple emails but superchips have been real assholes about this. Telling me to return it as it wasn't tested or validated on rhd vehicles. I researched a lot and found that mine is US built as vin starts with a 1. Superchips won't say anything other than what's stated above. Does anybody have any ideas? I can't return to the seller as I've had it for a couple of months now. I fully understand that this is my risk my fault. I wish superchips would be more helpful instead of not giving a shit. Any ideas would be awesome.
Thanks

I don't have one of these, but you might be out of luck.
The first character of vin only states the country of origin. 1 is US built. Look at the fifth character, if you see C or D, that's export model. D is RHD, C is LHD.
Good luck .

I did the same thing, It can read/clear codes, turn off tpms, correct speeds for tyre size change, change diff/low range ratios if needed.
It cannot however change the tune, still worth keeping for the other features.

Mine's not an F5, but the older model. I also have an 05 HEMI and it worked. I initially thought there were problems with the tuner, but it turned out to be some sensors and maintenance issues with the Jeep in the first place. I can change tunes on the older device without any problems. Their advice on the new model tuners could be valid too, so don't rule that out unless you found out someone else is capable of programming an F5 on an export (WH) model. The tuner locks to your VIN, so the VIN code number/letter sequences could very well be programmed to their "domestic" models only, not export WH models.

Is this another case where newer model might not be better with this tuner?
