buying a house is worse than buying an old car

almost zero phone reception at best
no internet (telstra think it may not be possible)
no tv reception (some kent stole the booster power supply)
no real heating yet (its foogen cold in the hinterland)

the excitement of buying is now gone.

How time flies. Patients man. It must be bludy frustrating.
Surely, as she matures, she'll come round. Teenagers, as you'd be well aware, are hard to fathom.

Thought I'd do the right thing and clean up the main bathroom while the missus was at work. The tiles were getting pretty disgusting.
I didn't really believe everything I see on advertising, but I thought all these "miracle" cleaners would at least half work.
Especially in the shower recess, you would think something would work but after using a bottle of Bam, Exit Mold, Multi Surface Cleaner, half a box of washing detergent and consuming about six beers, you would think it would look half decent! But no!
In the end I had to resort to using a can of degreaser from Repco, that fixed it.
So now I can say to the family when they get home, "That's how I want you to keep the bathroom from now on, doesn't take much effort."
Used a similar tactic to get the kids to wash the car wheels properly. I set the standard using the wife's corolla. Said that if I could get them that clean, they could.
Good thing they obliged as my mate pointed out that Toyota wheel trims may not be dishwasher safe!
Also the wash cycles take a while so there was a good chance of getting caught.

Getting to the stage now that I will delete her from my FB friends list. I'm pretty much over it.... Never responds to my comments on her wall, never likes anything I write. Never knew her growing up anyway...... So IMHO I'm not sure if its really all that important. Some would say it is.. I'm starting to think FTS and never try to contact her ever again....
