Default Anyone know anything about Dobinsons?

Hi folks,

I was chatting to the folks at Trax industries and they mentioned they were selling Dobinsons lift kits for JKs

Anyone have experience with this kit? Can't find much on about them on wranglers.

I honestly wouldn't bother wasting your money on them. When I was doing my research, I found that a lot of people that used them eventually replaced them with such other lifts like AEV, Muchison and even Teraflex.

I put a terra flex 2in lift kit into my jk. I found it way too floppy in the rear so I replaced the rear springs with some dobinsons constant load ones. They have been excellent so far. My boss runs dobinsons springs in his 100 series with bilstein shocks and that rides really well. I had the terra flex shocks in mine and they were leaking and useless after 60k so I have put some fox shocks in. Better ride and controll than the old ones. Will see how long they last.

My first Jeep, a WG Grand Cherokee V8, rode beautifully with the Dobinsons coils and Bilstein shocks I fitted to it.

Great coils by Dobinsons.

I have used them in a KJ diesel and a lowered VU ute. Both times they exceeded my expectations. Obviously will not be the same as a full Synergy 3" lift but their 2" lift will be be suitable for most weekend warriors.

I'm running 3" coils in the front of my XJ and dad has 3" all round in his TJ.
We're both very happy with them.
