Yep ill be movin to port douglas or Innisfail after i finish my stint in darwin, definately one of my fav spot in aus, the daintree on one side, great barrier reef on the other what more could you want. there is plenty of non croc and stinger places to swin in the wet like mosman gorge etc. anywhere south of townsville in aus is just too cold for me, i like the heat and humidity.

Darwin has different type of wheelin up here, there are some rocks and hills to play on (not many), but most is wheelin is rugged touring that is very demanding on your truck, everyone usually carries a gun to shoot boars and buff etc, and there is some of the best campsites ive seen.. everywhere you go feels like a real adventure and feels like your in the middle of bum f*&k egypt. nearly everyone drives a crusier up here, although there seems to be alot of modded sierras as well.. But now im just waiting for the rain to come so i can play in the mud!

If your an outdoors man, like camping, hunting and exploring. you wont regret moving to Darwin...there isnt endless things to do up here..

Then for extended trips I'd be in Tassie or the Flinders Ranges in a day.
There's no getting away from the fact Victoria has more 4 wheel drive tracks open particually in National Parks in such a small area than any other state & North of the divide the weather is 5 degrees warmer than Melbourne with more sunny days than Queensland.

70 minutes & I'm here, got to love it
With respect....what sort of drugs are you taking? Even if NE Victoria (like how specific is that - just say Victoria - it's a small place) had more sunshine than Qld (highly unlikely)...it's a craphole and its cold

Yes it can get cold but that's a small price to pay for driving like this....& isn't that what we're talking about here, the best place for offroading.
