On the topdo list....but no garage space left

The silly idea I was having was to reverse under said "hoist" with the Heep jacked up......unbolt the top and attached the "hoist"....lower said heep & drive off....ie shouldn't even need to wind the sucker Up & down

My biggest concern - My garage rood doesn't look very "structural"

I attached a block and tackle to the main rafter of the carport and used some of that rope you buy in climbing shops (3,000lb breaking strain) to hoist it. Still a pain without someone to help guide the actual top up and down. Might have a look at some of those ideas.

I just took it off and leaned it up against a wall in the garage with the front on the ground and the glass window up away from getting damaged...

I made one when I was in canberra and I could (just) the CJ inside. Cost me about 20 bucks. Was some pulley's/hook's and rope from bunnings and it worked fine.
