As I had totalled one of my CA mounts on the front diff earlier in the year, I finally got it fixed up and had some hardcore sliders made up to protect and re-o the mount.
wow, I thought someone would have said, overkill or nice job or something.
Maybe the saying should change to Bought not Built.
Wish more people would post up pics of things they have made or even had made so that we can get ideas, not just buy ready made kits off the shelf?????
Andy I've just finished a similar job for a customer, the passenger side lower CA mount was quite badly twisted. I couldn't slavage any of the mount except for the CAM templates. I will try and get a photo soon.
Nice job there they have done, it is good to see other solutions as my customer thought it was a one off and just his bad luck.

Apparently it is quite common, I know of another one up here that has done the same. When I did a search on the US sites when I first did mine they often had guys totally ripping them off . Had to have a brace welded up to help bend the mount kind of straight.
Yes it's a common occurance....moreso when there are aftermarket arms without misalignent joints or some other method of coping with the twisting of the brackets relative to each other...even moreso if the arms have poly or other hard bushing.
Since RE arms (or other quality) are more common here, the problem is less common.
Anyhow it's a good looking job Andy. Especially the neat cutouts.
